After five years of service, Bro. Steve Williams resigned to follow where God wanted him to go. Currently, Bro. Rick Balentine has become our interim pastor. Bro. Rick has over thirty years of service to God including a previous tenure at Fair Park.

My family has been a part of Fair Park Baptist since March 2010. As of May 2012 I have become the youth pastor for the Ignite youth group (grades 7-12) with assistance from my wife Heather and FPBC member Lyndsey Balentine.

As a child, I started in a Cumberland Presbyterian church. Then I grew up in a non-denominational church. I have even visited Methodist churches, a Church of Christ church, and I assisted in the recording of a Catholic wedding once. Eventually I went to a Free Will Baptist church where I met my wife. Now we are a part of Fair Park Baptist. The important thing I stress to everyone is that whatever is written outside the door is not what gets you into Heaven; accepting Jesus as your savior is the key.

Outside of church, I am an English teacher at Dover High School. I also love playing music. I have played the bass guitar for over twenty years. Heather is an LPN working on her RN. Our sons Logan and Connor are 3 and 2 respectively. We live in Pottsville where I have lived my entire life.
